With features like a built-in counterfeit detector, scrolling messages, and a 26 clerk ID system, it is easy to see why the Royal Alpha 601SC is the right choice for your business. The Royal 601 keeps an electronic journal, giving you the ability to run a journal tape at the end of the day. This eliminates the need for a dual printer or carbon tapes.

This Royal cash register can be used with an optional PS700 handheld bar code scanner (not included) to ensure fast and easy registration of items during check-out. Easy-to-use and convenient during sales check-out process and even during PLU set-up programming.

Q. What is the difference between the Royal Alpha 600 Cash Register (600SC) and the Royal Alpha 610 Cash Register (601SC)?

A. The only difference between the 600SC and the 601SC cash registers is the 600SC had only 1000 PLU's (price look ups), whereas the 610SC has 1500 PLU's. Other than that, they are identical.

Royal Cash Registers - New vs. Factory Refurbished Information:

We sell both NEW and FACTORY REFURBISHED on many of our cash register models. Please see the "conditions" area above (located by the price) for further information on availability.

If you are purchasing a refurbished model, it has been factory refurbished by the manufacturer, not by us. Adler-Royal refurbished cash registers have been thoroughly tested by the manufacturer, so they are perfectly functional, however be aware that they may contain slight scratches, show some wear, and the casing may show some yellowing. Refurbished cash registers usually ship in plain brown box (not the original product box).

If both new and refurbished are available, please make sure you choose whether you wish to purchase a refurbished unit or a new unit above. If you do not change the condition you wish to buy in the box above, you will be sent the refurbished model by default.

Should this happen, and you intended to purchase the new model, you will be responsible for original shipping fees, return shipping fees and any restocking fees to return the unit. If you are replacing it with a new one at that time, you will also be responsible for any price difference between the new and refurbished models, as well as shipping on the second item.
