*The 4 hole punch pattern is very specialized. It punches a fourth slotted hole and a folding notch, so that legal size paper can be easily folded up and kept in 3 ring binders. It is not a standard 4 hole punch pattern. The 3 hole punch functions normally and is standard. All holes are in a fixed position and are not adjustable.
