General Product FAQ's


I have a question about a product I would like to purchase or have already purchased.

Are you interested in a product, but have additional questions? Feel free to contact us. We do our best to return contact within 24 business hours, either with an answer to your question, or information on how to obtain additional support for your questions regarding a product, directly from the manufacturer, if we are unable to help. We do have manufacturer's links to their web sites and phone numbers available by clicking here.

If you are unable to locate a "buy" button underneath the product price, it is because the item has either been discontinued and is no longer available or is currently out of stock and back ordered. Please feel free to click on the link below to inquire about a specific item and it's stock status.

Billing and Credit Card FAQ's


I received my credit card bill and have a question about a charge on the bill that I don't recognize.

If you received a credit card statement and don't recognize the name on the bill, please be aware that we encompass three companies Your Office Stop, Your Laptop Stop, and Manage My Printing. Items purchased from us could include, but are not limited to, laminating machines and supplies, laptop totes and bags, paper folding equipment, cash registers, and other office related supplies and equipment. Also, keep in mind that we sell on eBay, so the charge may be for an eBay purchase you paid for.

If you are still unsure of the purchase, use the link below to inquire about the charge and we will research the purchase for you and get back to you right away. We can even supply an email invoice to you for your records, if needed. If additional information or clarification is needed, in order for us to research your transaction, a billing specialist will contact you either via telephone or email.

All billing inquiries will be addressed quickly. If you prefer to speak with a billing specialist on the phone, you may leave us a message at 877-951-9100, extension 2, and we will contact you during regular business hours. There is no need to give the billing specialist your full credit card number, just the last four digits and the amount in question. Please note this a direct line to our billing department, for credit card inquiries only, and our billing specialists will not be able to assist with general product and sales questions. I purchased an item, but still need to make payment.

To pay for an item that you purchased from us, that are awaiting payment, or to resubmit your credit card and make payment because you received a notice that your credit was declined or wouldn't go through for some reason, you may use our checkout link to securely enter payment information, or you can download our Credit Card Authorization form and fax that back to us to submit your payment information by fax, if you prefer.

I received an email from your staff that additional verification is needed to process my order. Why do you need this?

As stated on our checkout pages, when an order is "red flagged" for some reason in our system, such as a shipping address and billing address that do not match, or if the order is over a certain dollar amount, additional verification may be needed to ensure that the credit card holder has authorized the purchase.

While it is not our wish to make purchasing with us a difficult process, anyone who has ever been the victim of credit card fraud can attest to how frustrating it can be when someone else uses your credit card information to purchase items online. Unfortunately, we do not get to physically see the card, or the person using it, as would happen during an in store purchase, so this makes internet fraud so much easier for thieves. These additional measures are meant to keep you safe from this type of thing happening and from other unauthorized parties using your credit card number without your knowledge.

By being very thorough in our credit card verification process with these type of orders, we have been able to keep the instances of fraud to a bare minimum for our company, which, in turn, help keep our prices low for you, the consumer.

Depending on the dollar amount of the purchase, you may have been asked to provide additional proof that you are the card holder. This may include a copy of the credit card and your state issued ID, in some cases. Please download and complete the required documentation using the link below.

Support & Returns FAQ's


I have a support question about an item I purchased from Your Office Stop.

If you purchased the item from us please be sure to provide your invoice and/or item number for reference.

Please do not contact us for your support questions, if you did NOT purchase the item from us. We are not a manufacturer of any product and we do NOT service other stores' customers! While we may show up first in your "search" for this product, we may be just one of many different companies that carry it. Our support department is open to our customers only. Please contact the store you originally purchased the item from, or the manufacturer, for support, if you did not purchase the product directly from us. We do have manufacturer's links to their web sites and phone numbers available by clicking here.

Because we sell hundreds of different products, across a variety of categories, there may be instances where we are not the best person to contact for support of your product. If that is the case, we will refer you to the manufacturer of the product for support.

I need to return or exchange a product that was purchased within the last 30 days.

Please read our return and exchange policies by clicking here. You will be able to request an RMA number from that page as well. All return and exchange requests must be submitted via our web site at that link.

If you purchased your item from us more than 30 days ago, please contact the manufacturer of the product for support and warranty issues. We are not the manufacturer of any product and all warranty work outside of the first 30 days of ownership is handled by the manufacturer of your product, not by us directly.

Don't you have a phone number?

Absolutely, we do! However, as an internet based company, we have geared our business towards more effective communication via email, which makes it easier for us to research our customer's inquiries, without having them have to spend wasted time on hold, while we research their questions.

For fastest communication we suggest you use our contact form. Our staff generally has access to email far easier and quicker than they do the phones, even after hours, so customers using the contact form tend to get a bit quicker response to their questions because of this.

However, if you feel you must speak to someone in person, please feel free to call us toll free at 877-951-9100 during regular business hours. Be aware that our phones may not be manned at all times (not having a dedicated call center allows us to keep our prices low for our customers), so please leave a message, if you are unable to reach us via phone immediately, or come back an fill out a contact us form. A sales rep will get back with you as soon as they are available.

If you feel more comfortable placing an order by phone you may call us at 877-951-9100, extension 1, during regular business hours. Be aware that our phones many not be manned at all times (not having a dedicated call center allows us to keep our prices low), so please leave a message if you are unable to reach us directly, and a member of our sales team will get back to you as soon as possible.

But, rest assured that our web site is completely safe to order from, as we are thoroughly PCI compliant and secure. It's more convenient for the majority of our customers to purchase online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We generally do approximately 97% of our business via online methods, and only about 3% of our orders are handled by phone. Give it a try! Keeping our phone calls to a minimum for our staff allows us to address other issues such as timely shipping, product sourcing to bring our customers new and lower cost items, and quicker answers to email inquiries. Your can check out our PCI compliance seal, which ensures your information is safe, when an order is placed via our website. You can always check the status of our security by clicking on the Trustwave logo on our website.


Do you take purchase orders?

As a 100% internet based company, we are really not set up to ship items before payment has been rendered, however we have worked with non-profits, schools, and churches who work off purchase orders in the past.

We can take your order via telephone or email, send an invoice to you via email, which will allow you to request a purchase order and/or check from your company for payment. Once the payment has been received by us, we ship the product out to you. We will not ship a product off of a purchase order only. A check or some other form of payment must be received before we ship.

Please contact us using our contact form and let us know that you want to use a purchase order or send a business check for an item. Leave your phone number or email address so a representative can get back you regarding this. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks at this time.


How secure is my information when I order online?

Our order page is 100% secure and encrypted for the safety of our customers. Your personal information will never be resold or used by anyone outside of the Your Office Stop organization. Our web site is tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. The "live" McAfee Secure mark appears only when a web site's security meets the highest security scanning standards of the U.S. government, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.
